Spa Mirror Company FAQ.

General advice on how to submit sizes for quoting, what discounts are available and the areas we cover. We have also included questions that the public have asked us in the hope that you will leave with a better understanding of how to plan your project.

Preparation of project area.

The area to be fitted with a mirror or glass splashback should be free of loose plaster or other building material, any electrical sockets that are no longer required should be made safe by a qualified electrician, the electrical socket holes will then be hidden by the mirror or splashback.

If you have electrical sockets that are to remain then cut/outs are made into the glass, the sockets are removed before fitting and then replaced after, this should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

I have agreed to a quote, what happens next ?

We arrange a suitable time to have a site visit with you, we will call you when we are on our way to save you waiting in. The area is checked and any advice for your project that you need is given, if there is any amendment to the price you are informed including if the price drops. When you are happy to proceed you will then pay a deposit and our lead time begins.

When your glass is ready for fitting we contact you to arrange a site visit, when the glass has been fitted and you are happy with the job we have done you will then be invoiced for the balance due.

Do you offer discounts ?

Yes.

We discount our trade and account customers, we also offer discounts to projects that we feel are of interest to us like magazine, film and television work. We also discount larger domestic projects.

Do you send out samples ?

Yes, we charge £20.00 plus VAT Per sample to cover postage and handling, when you place an order your sample fee is discounted from your invoice regardless of how many samples you have had, for example if you ordered two samples at £40.00 plus VAT your invoice will be credited by £40.00 plus VAT.

If you have a project that we are working on and you need any samples then they are free of charge and the above would not apply.

London Borough of Southwark, London Borough of Lambeth, London Borough of Wandsworth.

London Borough of Camden, City of Westminster,Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. All other areas would depend on the project.

Include the approximate size of the area.

What product you are after and the available access including what floor the project is on.

If possible include a photograph of the project area.

what is the price of a supplied and fitted mirror ?

To measure supply and fit a standard mirror would be £120.00 per Sq Metre + VAT.

For example, 1 @ 1200mm X 1000mm would cost £144.00 + VAT

what is the price of a supplied and fitted glass splashback ?

To measure supply and fit a standard white splashback would be £240.00 per Sq Metre + VAT.

For example, 1 @ 600mm X 2000mm would cost £288.00 + VAT
